![]() ![]() PaPa is also survived by his best buddy, his granddaughter, Mindy Dunlap. George is survived by son, Nick Nemo daughter, Debi Dunlap and her husband, Tom grandson, Andy Nemo great-granddaughter, Shailee Nemo brother, Robert Nemo and many dear nieces and nephews. His fondest memories are the many family trips to Maui, HI, and of course, camping at Lake Chelan.ĭad would take us kids (everybody’s kids) waterskiing, snow skiing, fishing, hunting, hiking, golfing, boating and on the famous car trips! “Don’t make me stop this car!” on occasion, he did! Until his passing, kids would still come up and tell him they were part of his team. ![]() George loved kids – he loved to talk of the many years he coached Little League. He was a 50 year member of the Laborers International Union of North America, starting in 1952 until his retirement. They made their home in Mount Vernon where their three “Bandits” (his words) were born. George returned to the Skagit Valley where he married Lois Heggen on October 24, 1949. Upon returning to the mainland, he was stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where he was honorably discharged in 1946. He was stationed on the Big Island of Hawaii. George enlisted in the United States Army in 1943. He was raised and schooled in Sedro-Woolley. George was born in Sedro-Woolley, Washington, to Albert and Mary Nemo. Nemo, passed away on Februat the age of 90.
